Moving Beyond Extraction

For twenty years, I worked in the world of “Human Resources” and “Organizational Development.” But eventually, the language started to grate. Resources are meant to be extracted. Development is often just another word for “more, faster, better.”

I realized that most leadership models are extractive—they treat people (and leaders) like machines that just need better software. It’s why we’re all exhausted.

I left the U.S. and moved to Spain to learn a different rhythm. I traded the corporate script for a regenerative one. Today, I don’t teach you how to “manage” your team; I teach you how to foster an ecosystem. I work with nature as my primary teacher—relying on cycles, emergence, and the deep internal trust that allows a system to thrive even when the environment is harsh.

THE CORE PHILOSOPHY: The Regenerative Way

Internal Change Creates External Change:

We stop trying to “fix” the system out there until we’ve addressed the fragmentation in here. Regenerative leadership starts with self-trust.

Nature as Teacher:

Nature doesn’t hurry, yet everything is accomplished. I utilize somatic practices to align your leadership with the natural intelligence of your own nervous system.

Emergence Over Extraction:

We stop clinging to what’s dying (old power structures, performative metrics) and start participating in what is actually emerging in your life and work.

Who I Am in the World

I am an Italian and U.S. citizen, a writer, and a facilitator. I’m a queer Christian who holds spiritual depth without the cage of dogma. But specifically, I am:

  • The Architect of Trust: I use the REBEL Framework to help mission-driven teams rebuild their foundations from the inside out.
  • The Contemplative Guide: I lead retreats in Florence and along Italian pilgrimage paths, using beauty and movement as somatic pathways home.
  • The Joyful Rebel: I write Letters from the Joyful Rebellion because I believe joy is a regenerative act of resistance.
